Today more than 10 million Americans are being treated for Anxiety, and
the ages range from childhood to the elderly years. A few major types of anxiety have
shown response to some currently available marketed treatments: Panic Disorder, Social
Phobia, Generalized Anxiety. However, concern over addiction potential or sedative effects
limits the use of many of the older treatments for Anxiety.
